Sage Integration
Connect Sage to your CRM so sales and finance work from the same numbers.
Which Sage do you run?
Each version of Sage connects differently, so start with the one your finance team uses.
Sage 50 integration
For smaller finance teams running Sage 50 Accounts. Keep customer records, invoices and balances aligned with your CRM.

If your CRM is Sage CRM rather than your accounts system, we can help you move to Dynamics 365 or Maximizer without losing data.

The right approach depends on one question: do your sales and service teams just need to see finance information, or do they need to act on it?
View only
See what finance sees
Account data from Sage appears inside your CRM, so nobody has to ask finance or log in to Sage.
- Balance and available credit
- Last invoice and last payment dates
- Turnover this year and last year
- Credit status before a quote goes out
Best when sales need visibility and finance keep full control of Sage.
Two-way workflow
Move work between teams automatically
Records pass from CRM to Sage and back, so the same information is never typed twice.
- New customers created in Sage from the CRM
- Confirmed orders passed to finance for approval
- Invoices raised without re-keying
- Payments and balances returned to the CRM
Best when manual hand-offs are slowing orders, invoicing or cash collection.
What can flow between Sage and your CRM
Every integration is scoped to your process, but these are the records our customers connect most often.
| Record | Direction | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Customer accounts | Both ways | One version of each customer across sales and finance |
| Contacts and addresses | CRM to Sage | Invoices go to the right person at the right address |
| Orders and opportunities | CRM to Sage | Won business reaches finance without re-keying |
| Invoices | Sage to CRM | Account managers can answer billing questions straight away |
| Payments and balances | Sage to CRM | Sales know who has paid before they call |
| Credit limits and on-hold status | Sage to CRM | No surprises when an order reaches credit control |
| Products and price lists | Sage to CRM | Quotes use the same products and prices finance invoices from |
Sage stays the system of record for finance. The integration controls which fields move, in which direction and how often.
Connected to the CRM you already use
We integrate Sage with the two CRM platforms we know best, and connect other systems through custom integration.
Microsoft Dynamics 365
Sage and Dynamics 365
Bring finance data into Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service, and pass orders and new accounts to Sage. Pair it with Power BI for one set of numbers across sales and finance.
Microsoft integrations →Maximizer CRM
Sage and Maximizer
Our Sage Financials Data Connector brings Sage 50 and Sage 200 account data into Maximizer every day, including balance, credit limit, turnover and last payment date.
Maximizer apps and integrations →How we approach a Sage integration
We treat finance integration as a commercial priority, not a technical afterthought.
Map the process
We follow your order-to-cash process from first quote to final payment and find where work is duplicated.
Agree who owns what
We define which system owns each record, so CRM and Sage never compete over the same data.
Build and test
We build the integration with error handling and monitoring, and test it against your real data.
Support and grow
We monitor the connection and extend it as your processes, Sage version or CRM change.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most about Sage integration.
Which Sage products can you integrate with?
Most of our Sage work connects Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 200 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Maximizer CRM. We have also built custom integrations with other Sage products, including Sage X3.
Which CRM systems can connect to Sage?
We specialise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Maximizer CRM. Through custom connectors we can also link Sage to portals, web applications and other business systems.
What is the difference between a view-only and a two-way integration?
A view-only integration shows Sage information, such as balances and credit limits, inside your CRM. A two-way integration also passes records from the CRM into Sage, such as new customers and confirmed orders, so nobody has to re-key them.
How often does the data sync?
It depends on the integration. Our Maximizer connector updates Sage data daily. Custom integrations can run on a schedule or close to real time, depending on what your process needs and what your version of Sage supports.
Will finance need to change how they use Sage?
No. Sage remains the system of record for finance. The integration moves agreed information between systems; it does not change how your finance team works in Sage.
Is Sage CRM the same as a Sage integration?
No. Sage CRM is a CRM product, while Sage 50 and Sage 200 are accounting systems. If you want to move away from Sage CRM, see our Sage CRM migration page.
How do you keep our data secure?
Avrion is Cyber Essentials Certified. Each integration is designed so only the fields you agree are shared, and every connection is monitored.
Not sure where to start?
Tell us which Sage you run and where the hand-offs between sales and finance slow you down. We'll show you what an integration could remove.
