Apprenticeships

Women in Leadership
As part of Avrion’s commitment to supporting its people and encouraging them to give back to the communities and causes they care about, our Head of Marketing and Planning, Caroline Robertson, has become a driving voice for Women in Leadership and Women in Tech.
Caroline is deeply committed to championing Women in Leadership, believing that diverse leadership creates stronger, more resilient organisations. Throughout her career, she has worked to amplify female voices, open doors for emerging talent and challenge the structural barriers that still limit representation in senior roles. For Caroline, this is a responsibility she embraces; she sees every leadership opportunity as a chance to show what is possible, to inspire confidence in other women and to help shape workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Her passion for supporting Women in Tech stems from the belief that innovation flourishes when perspectives are diverse and inclusive. Caroline actively mentors women entering the technology sector, advocates for access to skills development and drives conversations around the value of female leadership within digital transformation. Through her advocacy for apprenticeships, learning pathways and supportive team cultures, she is helping to build a future where more women feel empowered to step into tech roles, lead high‑impact teams and influence the next generation of technological progress with confidence and authenticity.
Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)
Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) should be at the core of all businesses as collectively we have a responsibility to protect our planet. We have made it part of our mission statement so it is at the heart of everything we do.
We’re proud to be members of Planet Mark, a programme that helps organisations measure, reduce and ultimately eliminate their carbon impact. For us, it’s a practical framework — not a badge. Each year, we track how we use energy, how we travel, how we work and where we can cut waste. It gives us a clear, honest picture of our footprint and keeps us accountable as we work towards achieving Net Zero. Being part of Planet Mark also keeps us learning: new ideas, better practices and smarter ways to build sustainability into the everyday running of our business.
But we don’t want this to be something only Avrion does. One of Planet Mark’s strengths is how accessible it makes environmental progress. You don’t need to be a large organisation or have a dedicated sustainability team to get started — you just need the willingness to measure where you are today and make small, consistent improvements.
